The 3M Wrap Journey
The market for accents and full color change with vehicle wraps is growing and 3M is the first manufacturer in the industry to offer a training focusing exclusively on this application.
3M Films Training for Vehicle Color Change is a hands-on, comprehensive, three-day course dedicated to installing 3M™ Wrap Film Series 2080 and using 3M™ Knifeless™ Tape so you learn the necessary skills to tap into this growing market.
What to Expect
3M’s trainers emphasize the importance of repeated practice on these new skills. With a low student-teacher ratio, you can be confident that you’re learning the best techniques from the best trainers in the industry.
For the Beginner Installer
This class is designed to teach students the fundamental skills and knowledge in preparation for advancement in personal auto industry. The instructor will emphasize hands-on training using the proper application tools to help you succeed in real-world situations. Beginner installers should plan on three full days of training.
For the Experienced Installer
Installers who have worked with film before may choose to use the third day to take the rigorous test to become a 3M™ Vehicle Color Change Preferred Installer. Installers who pass the test will be listed on the 3M installer locator.
The learning process continues long after the training is over for the advanced installer. Advanced installers can take what they’ve learned in Vehicle Color Change training back to their workplace and share the knowledge with their employees.
